I often stop by the Saturday morning car meet at the Burger King location on E. Arapahoe Road and S. Potomac Street. I get to hang out with the members of this ‘unofficial’ club and talk about their classic, vintage, and muscle cars, etc. This is where I met the owner of this 1932 Brookville bodied roadster. He had purchased an original 1932 Ford hood and sides to accompany the Brookville stamped body. The hood was in need of reshaping to the cowl and radiator shell as well the right-hand hood side required complete metal finishing.
Time taken to repair and metal finish the hood halves was 3.75 hours.
