A new project has arrived at The Metal Surgeon headquarters: a 1972 Porsche 914 conversion to a 914/6 GT race car.  First stop for the car was tear down at the owner’s late model German car repair shop in Colorado, then media blasting to remove the paint down to bare metal, for a clear evaluation on the body.  The car originally came from Arizona, so fingers crossed it spent most of its life there!
